Haha, well it's been quite a long time since I updated this journal. Approximately two months, I believe. These past two months have been a little busy due to my older brother getting married this September.

You know what that means, eh? That's right, I had to go out of town quite a few times (because this fucking town has no dress selection for fat women like me...) to find a decent dress to wear at such a ceremony. Then, once I found that dress, I had to bring it to a tailor to get it "fixed" since I'm too short for the dress itself -.- and my ass was too big for it... *loathes body*

The last trip I made out of town was to claim my improved dress, tailored to my misshaped body, and then buy some accessories. So I went to Sanctuary Curio Shoppe and got myself a nifty victorian styled necklace and a little bracelet. WOOT!

Now, all that's left to do is fix my hair before the wedding. I think I'll just get it trimmed and dye those coloured streaks back to my natural hair colour... wouldn't want to embaress my older brother *rolls eyes*. I also have to find a suitable hairstyle for the wedding day... I don't know what to get . Unlike most girls, I don't give a shit about my hair. Hell, I could have it multi-coloured and I'd still be all, "Damn right, bitches! I'M A RAINBOW!" buuuuut, this isn't -my- wedding... so I have to present myself in a "normal" way *shudders*... uuuugh, that'll be so awkward >.<;;

For one, I don't wear dresses... the last time I wore a dress was last Halloween when I made that Victorian Countess skirt... And that only counts as a costume! Secondly, I'm not used to getting all pampered up with layers and layers of make-up and girly things... hell, I'm even wearing high heels for Christ's sake! I'm definately going to fall flat on my face at one point...

*rubs face* Aside from the wedding stresses (what the fuck, it isn't even MY wedding *shakes head*) I have to find myself another job... I was fired from my previous workplace soooo now I've got to find some other place to work at. Ugh, I hate job hunting.. it's such a drag... oh well, it just has to get done...

Seventh Level of Hell

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assassins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischief in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

is nervous as FUCK!

The inevitable waiting game... UGH it sucks! God damn... Okay, so as I mentioned in my last journal entry, I worked at the provincial elections on March 3rd, 2008. It wasn't as bad as I initially thought, so I had a good vibe for when I went to hand out my resumés.

There was this Career & Summer thingy, where potential employers basically go all "We need employees APPLY NOW!". So I went, all prepared and shit with an envelope of resumés ready to hand out to the companies and organizations that have Administrative Assistant openings. At first, I was amazed that the employers were impressed about me being fluently bilingual (French & English), but then immediately started to get nervous since I basically had no work experience as an Administrative Assistant... SHIT fucking holy hell!! I hope to dear God that they fucking train their new recruits, if not I AM FUCKED! God damnit! I hate the fact that they don't start phoning right away... I mean, who knows how many people applied... I could be at the bottom of their pile, where they'll never reach my phone number in time to hire me... Jesus Christ, I hate waiting next to the phone for a damn phone call...

is trying to get her shit together!

Yes indeed. I've realized how much of a slacker I've become ever since I graduated. Therefore, le damned epiphany struck at my puny brain and went "GET OFF YOUR ASS YOU LAZY BUM!". So, in order to obey the all mighty Epiphany of Doom, I've decided to make a To Do List for my future art projects (for they are scattered within my cranium walls). Not only that, but also charge head first into the scary and unkown world of the Job Market... I mean, the only job I've litterally had was at Hell*Mart (aka, Wal*Mart).

Either way, I've got a little job with the upcoming provincial elections which I will be able to add to my resumé. Hopefully, that'll be a positive point for my future employers to reconize! Wish me luck for the on-going delivery of resumés!
